Roll In Style
Jeep® Commander sparkles like a diamond mine with standard 17-inch Wrench cast-aluminium wheels, machined-face and Sparkle Silver accents.
The Face Of A Jeep®
Nothing embodies legendary Jeep® design more than the signature seven-slot grille. From the original 1941 Jeep® Willys to the seven-passenger Jeep® Commander, this easily recognisable emblem serves as a lasting icon of 4x4 capability.
See Your Way
Clear vision is automatic with the available rain-and-speed-sensitive wiper system. When rain falls, this system “reads and responds” automatically to let you remain focused on the road without fumbling for a wiper switch.
See The Light
You can find yourself out of the sticks with Jeep® Commander thanks to the Halogen headlamps, which provide an exceptional supply of illumination in even the darkest conditions.

Infrared Dual-Zone Climate Control
The available Infrared Dual-Zone Climate-Control System for Jeep® Commander uses advanced infrared sensing to measure the temperature of the driver and front passenger, as well as the air temperature inside the cabin to create a customised, comfortable environment. The system includes sun sensor and rear-seat heat and air-conditioning outlets for excellent air temperature distribution. Standard on Commander Limited.
In addition to the Infrared Dual-Zone Climate-Control System, which allows the driver and front passenger to choose individual temperature settings, the third-row seat features separate climate controls too. The rear seat heat, air-conditioning, and ventilation outlets allow vehicle occupants to ride in absolute comfort.
Electronic Vehicle Information Centre
Command central. All Jeep® Commander models feature the new Electronic Vehicle Information Centre (EVIC). This feature allows access to program important features, such as headlamp and wiper functions, digital compass, outside temperature, remote Keyless/Illuminated Entry System, service intervals and Trip Computer.
Comfortable. Cozy. Commander.
Jeep® Commander doesn’t skimp on the features when it comes to creature comforts and cosiness. Its heated eight-way power driver’s seat with four-way power front-passenger seat lets you hit the road (or trail) in style and luxury. Available on Commander and standard with driver’s memory on Commander Limited.
View The Sun, Moon And Stars
Jeep® Commander features a front-row power sunroof and exclusive fixed-panel Command View™ dual skylights, which extend over and beyond the second-row seats. The view is simply stunning and readily accessible with express open/close and comfort stop features. It’s like having your very own domed stadium with a retractable roof.
Best Seats Outside The House
Jeep® Commander features enough interior space – a generous 1940 litres with the second and third row seats properly folded – to stow all your gear, from surfboards to suitcases.
Commander features the first three-row seating configuration ever offered in a Jeep® vehicle. The seats are arranged theatre-style, with each row higher than the first. Moreover, the fold-flat 40-20-40-split second-row seating allows easy entry and exit to and from the third row, while fold-flat 50-50-split third-row seating can accommodate both passengers and cargo.
When flat, the seats create a load floor and ample cargo space. When upright, they provide room for up to seven passengers.

Multi-Displacement System (MDS)
The 5.7-litre HEMI® V8 combines top power and fuel economy thanks to its Multi-Displacement System (MDS). When cruising at highway speeds, MDS uses advanced computer technology and electronic throttle control to transform the HEMI seamlessly from V8 power to an efficient four-cylinder power plant. It’s an amazing feature that boosts the vehicle’s overall fuel economy.
Four-Wheel-Drive Systems
Quadra-Trac II®
This active four-wheel-drive system features a low-range setting that boosts torque when you need it – especially good for driving in extreme conditions or on steep slopes. Quadra-Trac II® works with Commander’s Electronic Stability Program (ESP) to monitor and respond to driving conditions, utilising traction control to shift power side to side for optimum grip. (4.7L V8 Sport).
Quadra-Drive II®
This heavy-duty four-wheel-drive system includes industry-exclusive Electronic Limited Slip Differentials (ELSDs) in front and rear axles that transfer torque unilaterally for a more stable ride on any terrain. Also works with the electronic stability program (ESP) to monitor and respond to driving conditions, and features a low-range setting to multiply torque (standard on models excluding 4.7L V8 Sport).
Precisely Engineered Suspension
The short-and long-arm (SLA) independent front suspension on Jeep® Commander give the driver a greater sense of precision and control while reducing vehicle weight and head toss-all without compromising the vehicle’s trademark off-road performance.^
Rack-And-Pinion
Impressive handling begins with rack-and-pinion precision, which allows the driver to respond quickly during all types of manoeuvres. And, with its standard Electronic Stability Program (ESP),* the driver is able to better maintain directional stability in severe manoeuvres on any type of surface.

Transmission
The 3.7-litre V6 engine is mated to a five-speed automatic transmission, while the 4.7-litre V8 and 5.7-litre HEMI® V8 are joined to a multi-speed automatic transmission with enhanced capabilities. In addition to providing smooth shifts and optimum efficiency, both transmissions allow fully automated shifting and manual gear selection through Electronic Range Select, which helps drivers better adapt to various on and off road conditions
Haul It All
One of the essential elements of the Jeep ownership experience is the ability to “take it with you”, whether it’s a boat, caravan, or other trailer. Jeep® Commander is no exception with its 3,500kg towing capacity.

ESP & Traction Control
Jeep® customers expect and deserve engineering that can handle uncertain driving conditions. That’s why all Jeep® Commander models come standard with an Electronic Stability Program (ESP) that includes all-speed traction control, brake assist, and Electronic Roll Mitigation (ERM). ESP works to correct the vehicles course by automatically controlling the throttle and applying the brakes at individual wheels. All-speed traction control reduces engine power and transfers torque to the appropriate wheel when slippage is detected. Brake assist ensures maximum brake efficiency during emergency brake situations. Electronic roll mitigation senses when a rollover may occur and applies braking force to the correct wheel to reduce the likelihood of such an accident.
The Highest Safety Rating
Jeep® Commander earned the U.S. Government’s highest rating for front-impact crash testing – five stars. You’ll also feel reassured knowing both passive and active safety features, such as advanced front multistage air bags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and Anti-lock Brakes system (ABS) have been designed to help keep you safer during your on- and off-road adventures.
Standard Front & Side Air-Bags
All Jeep® Commander models feature standard advanced multistage driver and front-passenger air bags* and standard front and rear side-curtain air bags which provide additional protection to outboard occupant in the event of a collision or rollover. The integrated restraint system includes three-point lap and shoulder belts for all seating positions, with pretensioning and load-limiting retractors for the front seat belts.
Eyes Behind Your Commander
While backing into tight spaces, the ParkSense® Rear Park Assist System sends sound waves from discreetly integrated sensors in the rear bumper to detect nearby obstacles in its path. When an object is detected, an audiovisual indicator on the overhead display in the rear of the vehicle and sounded chime alert you to the proximity of most larger stationary objects that might be outside your line of sight.
Know When The Pressure's On
Maintaining proper tyre pressure is paramount for optimal safety, performance, and fuel economy. The tyre-pressure monitoring display system for Jeep® Commander Limited models feature tyre-valve stem-mounted sensors that monitor individual tyre pressures for all four rotating tyres and warn if pressure is too low or too high. You’ll know your tyres are ready to hit the road.
